Editorial and Affiliate Policy
How we compare cam platforms, check changing details and fund the guides.
How platforms are evaluated
Our cam site comparisons look at the type of show, new model promotion, earning tools, payout rules, privacy controls and who owns the account. The best choice still depends on where the model lives, what she is willing to do and the audience she wants to attract.
What a ranking means
A ranking is an editorial judgment for the audience described on the page. It is not an earnings promise and does not mean every model should make the same choice. Streamate is listed separately as a private show alternative and is not part of the three-platform ranking.
Affiliate relationships
Some model signup links are affiliate links. We may earn a commission when a reader registers through one of those links. A commission does not change the reader's price, guarantee account approval or purchase a favorable conclusion. Pages with affiliate signup links carry a visible disclosure near the recommendation or call to action.
Sources and updates
Current platform claims are checked against official help centers, model documentation, agreements or registration pages whenever those sources are available. Each detailed comparison states when its platform information was checked. Payout methods, fees, thresholds, eligibility and promotion rules can change, so readers should confirm them inside the official model account before submitting identification or relying on income.
Corrections
To report an outdated claim, broken source or factual error, email contact@howtobecomewebcammodels.com and include the page URL. Partnership requests can use the same address, but payment does not guarantee coverage or ranking.
